went looking for a wii fit today but had no joy ,had a look at x box and ps3,s .always liked the 360 but looking at graphics on games the ps3 does look better .tempted to get one so which is best

Well in short at the moment Xbox 360

The 360 does have the best catalog of games at the moment, it also has the best features online i.e playing multiplayer games and add ons. AND CHEAPER THAN A WII  360 isnt the quietest of console when a DVD is running, best firmware.

The PS3 does have better graphics (slightly, renders the polygons different and has one more GPU)but this is only very minute and the sharpest of eye would only be able to tell the difference if you ran two games side by side on both consoles. The PS3 also has a blu-ray player which is good but you can get a standalone blu-ray player cheaper than a PS3!! Easy to upgrade HDD and best overall home theatre kit.

Its going to be a very close year for both MS and Sony but most of the game dues out are on both formats!

Hope i have helped :?

I'm still waiting for the PS3 to drop down in price to the £200 - £250 range first.

Alot of people say the 360 is noisy but the lack of reliability puts me off it. I know a few people who have had to get them sent away for repairs 3 or 4 times !!

Still on my first xbox 360 and had no problems whatsoever (touch wood) with there returns warrant for breakdowns i haven't a worry :D

After experiencing both consoles i cant see any gains from having a ps3 instead of a 360 at this point, at the end of the day it depends purely what your going to be using your console for!!

Movies and home entertainment = PS3
Games and Multiplayer = XBOX360

ps3 kicks xbox ass.

i had a 360 .... it broke and i had to send it back to microsoft and they fix it and send it back........it broke again and i had to send it back to microsoft and they sent me a new one ......it broke and i had to send it back to microsoft and they sent me a new one . so i bloody sold it and got a ps3.

a ps3 has a blu ray player built in which alone cost a couple of hundred pounds. xbox 360 has a hd player that used to cost £100 extra but now all the film studio's have dropped the format so is now obselete.
to play multi player games on ps3 you just play them with no extra cost. on a 360 you could, but the newer games( ie cod4) all require gold memberships, which is another £40 a year . plus on playstation live you can download games, add ons, demo's for new games all completely free.
its true the ps3 hasn't got such a large back catalogue of games but because of the depth of them you dont need many at a time . plus ps3 has the greatest game of the all .... WARHAWK

Its a sort of a Battlefield close, with more emphasis on these planes which are called warhawks! Both sides have a different warhawk and the player models along with the warhawks are customisable.....but there are other vehicles to play with....

Quote
"In Warhawk, players experience the thrill of white-knuckle aerial combat with hundreds of enemy fighters, bone-crunching armored assaults and high-intensity infantry combat in a massive, all-out war fought both on the ground and in the skies. During gameplay, players are tasked with protecting their homeland from the invading Chernovan armada. By doing so, players take command of the most advanced war machine in the fleet, the Warhawk, capable of aerobatic dogfights at high speeds or hovering over ground troops providing tactical support."
