He knows at Liverpool his job is safe but at Madrid if they have a poor season he will be sacked without a second thought.

As much as I would love to sign Eto'o prices of 35 million are crazy and personally I wouldn't want us to spend that much on one player when we need players for 4 different positions.

Eto'o is overpriced, strokers always are, and your right we need a few players so no point in blwing the budget on just one.
I just think Benitez is getting pissed off with losing out on signing players becuase he feels Parry takes to long faffing about.
On the other hand in Spain the Manager doesn't actually sign the players so he knows in England he will have more control than he would there.

All I've had last few weeks is how the rafalution will be in full swing this summer, I have signed copies of predicted first teams for next season with Eto Malouda Alves Silva Villa, there all on there. Rafa aint getting the cash tho

Everton seem skint as usual, I'm sure Kenwrights on the make. I'd like Jags an unspectacular but solid signing, Nugent would be good but Vaughan's performances last season make him less of a necessity. I'd like to see us get Fernandes on loan for another season and Giuly who Barca are letting go for nothing could be an inspired signing down the left wing. Also been linked with Yaya Toure but can't see us landing him.

Heard a few daft rumours we're after Riquelme too - apparently Mascerano recommended Everton as an ideal club for him.

I think we'll sign no one.

Until the Spanish season ends on Sunday Rafa won't buy anyone as everyone knows that's where he prefers to buy players from !! :lol:

The cash is there but when you need quality players for 4 positions the budget will only stretch so far and it depends if he wants to get rid of Bellamy and Kewell as they would raise an extra 12 to 15 million for us to spend.

When people are talking about 18 million pounds for Darren Bent you know the prices are crazy at the minute so hopefuly it will prove worthwhile to be patient !! :wink:

True, when I saw Ã'£20 million being touted for AJ by West Ham I neraly spat my coffee across the keyboard! My main concern is holding on to Arteta beyond that I hope we look abroad this year as domestic prices are insane.
