You can by this figure MOC in very good condition for this price on Tri Logo or POTF.

And people say the economy has had a negative effect on vintage SW prices from what i've seen over the last few months many items seem to be increasing in price!

It's looking like people are investing what ever money they have in collectable's, I also collect vinyl records and some of the prices they are going for at the moment, seems to confirm this.

I think it is the same for Star Wars Items.

Not getting any interest on savings at the mo so maybe putting money into other area's is what's happening at present.

I agree. Some of the vintage SW auctions I've followed in recent months have gone higher than I'd expected, especially in the current climate. I also collect vintage scalextric models - these too don't seemt to have been affected!

I saw that auction today as well, couldn't believe it, that kind of stuff was happening a few years ago closer to the anniversary of Star Wars - some loopy prices back then for vintage!

Well unfortunately for the seller . with ebay being the way it is in 2009 if the bidder wakes up and decides he doesn't want it the seller can't really do very much!
