Hey, could anyone tell me why this small Han looks like it's peeling back into a white plastic? I thought only the legs could turn white... :?

Its called frosting.

Small head Han, Snaggletooth and B-wing Pilot are especially prone to it.

Its a reaction in the plastic.

Sunlight will erase it.

I erased it with baby wipes.

Not a problem.

My 12 back Luke has the same issue on his face. I haven't bothered to leave him in the sun yet, I'm scared in case a bird shits on it lol !!!!

My rotj Leia moc has frosting - left her in Sun for close to two weeks. It did next to feck all - still frosty.

I actually found a different Han to that one with some frosting. Maulsters reply made me feel ok with purchasing it... yours changed my mind, haha.

The figure itself is in good condition, just has frosting.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Nick.

I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on it... which finally completes my first 12 collection! Should be interesting to see how the defrosting goes. Besides, the frosting which will most likely go with ease, the figure seemed to be in decent condition. I'll try to post my results on the other thread Maulster linked. :)

Edit: just incase anyone misses it, the one I bought is farther down (not the OP link).

  I think 30 seconds might be a bit too long. 20 seconds is enough to cremate a Christmas mince pie
