Can anyone translate the message below? I've sold a few items on eBay. Apparently I use the global shipping programme whatever that is:

Good evening
Ebay asks me to request an estimate from the salesman for the livreson
Thank you to calculate with just the livreson for France for my objects star wars

In a friendly way

Presumably the buyer is French...Zut Alors!

Some words in French don't translate very well, I think you'll find the word they are trying to translate is "delivery"

So maybe, postage charges for France, JMHO

Murky Buckets

Mike :D

All uk sellers were put into shipping programe a few months ago unless you opted out. They sent emails out on how to opt i think at the time....i think... :?

Right guys, I'm in the GSP. I've sent the buyer the weight and dimensions via eBay messages. What do I do now? Wait for him?

I did not know I was part of this delivery programme. I sold an MOC to a dutch buyer, I just had to send it "tracked" to an ebay sorting office address (I think a unit in an industrial estate in Milton Keynes) and that's it, the buyer pays for delivery onwards and it is ebay's responsibility.

It did work.

ok, but ebay have not sent me any instructions. Do they do this after the buyer has paid? I've put 4 items in one box to keep costs down.

ebay add on a shipping programme fee that buyer pays this covers custom/import charges! onto your postage cost and item. they then give you a uk ebay shipping programe address which you sent into once item has been paid ebay then forward to a depot in what ever country is responsible for gsp in that country. ebay provide there own uniquie tracking to the buyer also

Cheers Chris,

I'm beginning to think the buyer is taking the piss. I've sent 3 or 4 messages and get "thank you, cordially" or "ok, merci" back. His feedback is excellent though.

"livraison" is the French word for shipping. Perhaps it means that. Not sure why he would have spelt it wrong. Could be a slang spelling.
So basically he's asking you to send him an invoice ith shipping costs to France. For his objects.

yeah sorted out the bypassing of the scandalous GSP for multiple items. He left these words of wisdom:

That set
In France no problem there is always a solution, there will be no solution is that there is no problem
thank you
