where do they keep finding these boxes

There aren't many other figures that are less appealing (to me) but would I want to own this piece of history, hell yeah! Great pick up and Timbo will be drooling at this score 8)

Iain,

Fair play to you mate.I think that is miles better than any other £1000 item.It gives the piece character and history. Are you going to get protection for it? Im not saying send it to AFA to be graded  but maybe just get Christian or someone to make a custom case for it.I know it would be huge, and cost a fair whack, but this is one item that needs preserving and i think it would be a sweet centerpiece to anyones collection. In my eyes, this is one of the best, most prestigious items seen anywhere in a long, long time.

Congrats chap.

Maybe the seller had a ROTJ case and some spare POTF b-wing pilots....a marriage of the two? Not far fetched as I know the seller and how he stores things.

Very nice Iain, I imagine there were boxes like that full of yaks at one time

With the space at the top of the box, should they be in the box upright? You could then do 2 facing 2, so 4 per slice. You wouldnt get 96 in, but you'd be closer, say 72?
