Ha! I saw that auction too and the very same thought crossed my mind.....douche bag!!
There's no way eBay would let that slide as a way of dodging fees. And why should they? I reckon if you are going to take the approach of selling on eBay you should be prepared to pay the fees you agree to.
Personally, it's very rare I would sell on eBay as I feel the fees are harsh for big ticket items.
It has helped to put a few quid in my pocket over the years, which I immediately spend on more action figures....!!!!

It is indeed a joke that they get to charge you a percentage for postage. You now lose 10% to eBay + 4% to PayPal and in most cases end up losing money on postage as a lot of people will mark you down if the postage costs you charge are over the price on the label

I would say it is the same fella who had a DT Luke on last night for £50, postage was £750... :roll: That ad's gone as well.
I saw that too, then it ended and was relisted and now disappears. Was a person from Denmark, quote
"Cheap figure with high handling costs, the cost is because ebay will not lift my sale allowance despite me now becoming a business seller"
But they have no other items for sale, in the description they were also selling a DT Luke and Lili Ledy Jawa.
