Whoever it was who had a share in him sold it before he moved to Liverpool or had to sell it so he could move to Liverpool.

When he moved that was one thing Liverpool checked and made sure of (along with could he actually move having already played for two clubs in one season/calendar year) West Ham missed it and are now ****ed!

That was one of the stories in the paper a while ago but I believe we have paid 1.5 million to loan him for 18 months with a view to a deal at the end of that.

I'll be surprised if they take points off West Ham as the Premier League must have registered and cleared him to play once he had signed so I don't understand why it has taken until March for this to come up. :?

I think the Hammers are doomed but I think Curbishley is good enough to take them straight back up again, IF they stick with him.

i think craig is right about the money but im not sure who actually gets it :? there is still a lot of cloak and dagger stuff going on with these two players and there seems to be a lot more to it than they are letting on.

As for the points deduction lets have it now ,it will make no difference to our fate and will get the matter dealt with and out the way
Curbishley in my mind needs to be given a chance next season as long as the majority of the present team are not there as it seems there is a bad player manager vibe going on but it was the same with pardew so i will leave you to come to your own conclusions on that

They are about the only 3 players i would want to stay,but when we go down people will be gagging to get their hands on them
I would like to think that ashton has a bit of loyalty to west ham for still paying his wages for the last 9 months but i doubt it

Ashton might stay out of loyalty, or at least staying until January to see how well they are doing. As he was injured playing for England McClaren might keep him in the squad to give him another chance.

The question is can West Ham really afford to keep him if they go down?
