Sorry for all the noob questions today, just really getting into the vintage SW items and finding it exciting to learn.

Is it possible for SW (original 12) figures to be stamped on the leg with different years (ie. 1977, 1978, etc) or were they all created in one shot at the time?

I know that figures received subsequent production runs (or was it just vehicles?) when the sequels came out in 1980 etc but curious if figures within one particular production run (say, SW carded figures, before ESB) were produced with different dates next to their COOs?

The date is a copyright date not a manufacture date so does not change. ( a few exceptions R5D4 found with 77 R2 body as well as it's own 78 , Barada 84 & 85 )

As far as i know the exceptions are R2D2, C3PO, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper and R5D4 that can be found with the 1977 and 1978 date stamp and Barada that can be found with 1984 and 1985 date stamp.
