Watching and Watchers

Have Ebay recently added a new feature over the last week :?:

Items I'm now watching or click on tell me how many people are watching this item, to my knowledge this has never been the case before :?

A couple of things keep cropping up lately. I know it used to tell you how many people per hour have been wiewing something - and it now has a fixed thing telling you how many watchers.

Also I had something pop up telling me someone has recently enquired about the item, which I hadnt encountered before (bearing in mind ive made over 300 ebay purchases in the last 7 weeks it seems odd that i've only just encountered this now).

Also some items you click 'but it now' on are still available for other people to buy untill you actually send the payment. Ths only applies to some 'buy it now' items for some unknown reason. I've never sold on ebay so I don't know if its a sellers option.

Yeah thought so, I've noticed a small pale blue box pop up saying someone has enquired or viewed the item in the last 24 hours. To me this is another ploy by ebay into getting you to panic buy :x

Secondly, yeah, this was mentioned by someone else. I like this feature very much. ebay finally figuring out that it benefits them to actually have items paid for by those hitting 'butitnow' :roll:
