I feel like crap now :(

 I might open it lick it seal it back up and then sell it onto one of the idiots that collect these things ;) grrrrr I can't believe I didn't see this one, actually thinking about it, its a China Coo I could have sworn it was allegedly a HK! Michael the U signifies uncirculated, the figure has either been removed from a Baggie or a card before being graded.

PS don't beat yourself up over it, as you never know it may have well been a totally trashes card/baggie, just punt it on if its not your bag & get yourself another as you should have a few pennies to spare to buy a pint & drown your sorrows - always a silver lining for every dark cloud ;)

I hate U grading as a collector of "cheaper" carded figures I think its terrible people are destroying these things, beater and lower end carded figures are getting hard to find and I think U grading is largely to blame.

just imagine it was a cut card, broken bubble ect ect and was at risk of condensation staining...the afa saved it lol

I wouldnt break it free mate

sell it to a u grade masturbater for £70 and buy a new loose one for £10, get a steak dinner, beers and a few dvd's and still have cash leftover for more star wars stuff :)

Thanks Guys i feel like an alcoholic at an AA meeting, these things are bloody awful but i think Plantmans idea is the best steak and beer yeehaw! I will hunt down a HK 85 and sell this one on. Although is that perpetrating the crime? i am 85% positive it was listed as HK as at the time i only bought HK Coo's, i do wonder if the seller just sent the wrong one.

That's what I'd do, there's always going to be U collectors and if you break him out then there's one les U85 for these idiots to collect, also more chance of another one getting graded so its probably best to keep what's already out there out there.

whats done is done, flog it mate, ive seen them sell for near £70, get it sold and buy a loose one to get graded, and bank 50 in yer back pocket :)

Think thats going to be the course of action PM, i cant believe how much these things seem to go for, You can have a minty ROTJ carded example for less! Crazy!!!

I have one too. A Lando Skiff in my case.
Bought years ago, before the whole U grade thing blew up. I can only hope he came from a ruined card, it was pre the 'any MOC under £100 getting graded' phase so fingers crossed.
Not a piece i'm proud of owning though.
