I'm just sorting through some vintage Starwars figures that have been boxed up for years and amongst all the loose figures I had bagged up a bunch of weapons. Some of the figures I think I bought on ebay in the 1990s so I just wondered if any of the weapons ring obvious alarm bells to the experts here? Always hard from photos and I will do the float test but sometimes people who knwo what they are looking for can immediately point out obvious issues.

thanks

Its imposible to tell from those photos (for me anyway) would need to get much closer :) - its worth checking these guys out and doing the comparisons: https://www.imperialgunnery.com/

I would say, that back in the 90's there wasn't really the repro issue you get today, so if you've owned them that long, chances are they are good

Thanks a lot. I did try checking a couple of websites but even using my phone to zoom my eyesight isn't good enough to really tell the difference :)

To get validation on accessories mate you'll need to take a photo of each piece on it's own well focused in the palm of your hand, ideally outside in natural daylight, front and back of each item. It's impossible to tell from a low lit group shot like that. The repro crap has tells but it needs well focused detail shots to spot. The imperial gunnery as mentioned is great and try variant villain as well. Good luck 👍
