The items are listed on the auction website (although the link is not quite correct, they are easy to find):

http://www.hamiltonauctionmarket.com/sale_cat_keyword_current.aspx

(search by keywords "star wars"

The estimated prices are far from accurate and I think the OP is in for quite a disappointment come sale day. The auction house has clearly not done the appropriate research which is a shame for the chap.

Even more sadly, the small value that would have been associated has in a large part been lost to the auction house applying a sticker to the few boxed pieces!

£200-£300 estimate on that boba

It's probably because this is the super rare version of Boba with a different gun

Got to love an auction house that doesn't know it's arse from its elbow and misleads the client

You can kiss goodbye to 30% of the market value straight off with buyers and seller's fees. You would have done far better listing them here for valuation and then selling them to collectors. You knew this place existed as you made this post, why not sell here and cut out the lazy arse auction house?

I particularly liked the blurred images. I thought it gave it that rustic "overpriced ****" look :D

**** me

I didn't realise an open, no packaging miscard figure and weapon was so sought-after

I'm interested to see what they do sell for, it only takes someone clueless on the day to see £200-£300 reserve on the Fett and snap it up for a bargain £100 (especially with limited edition weapon). :?

Loving the username 8)

I hope the bottom end of the estimate isn't the reserve, which can often be the case. It's going to be embarrassing!

Hi peeps....first of, this he is a she  secondly I didn't know this site existed till after the items were placed at the auction house. Yes I have probably been advised badly by a lazy arse auction house but wtf do I know?...I'm a 37 year old local authority worker who uncovered her beloved collection while packing up her mum to move into sheltered accommodation. At the end if the day if it sells for £50 it's money for nothing. Any items that don't sell will appear here. Any constructive advice or valuations are appreciated..if anyone sees an item they are particularly interested in then let me know. I'm free to withdraw them at any time.

I'd withdraw the entire lot if I were you, the fellas on here are as honest as the day is long and will guide you to a fair market value on your pieces. You won't need to pay any fees and the items will end up with collectors rather than a dealer looking to on sell them.

Just post up some pics in the valuation thread and you'll soon get some valuable info on prices then put together a sales thread in the for sale section. It'll all be open and honest as trying to rip off people looking for an honest valuation is generally frowned upon here.

Good luck whichever way you decide.

Thanks bluedog....I have taken on board what you have said , although I'm not sure if my 'overpriced ****' would be of interest to anyone here. If anyone likes the look of something in particular then I would be happy to discuss. Thanks again for your advice, much appreciated

Yep, apologies for that :). My comments were primarily aimed at the auction house who clearly don't know what there doing. In terms of what you're selling you will find plenty of interested parties here if you're guided correctly on price. Post in the valuation section as suggested and then at least you'll get a better idea.
