You'll get a lot more love for your for sales posts if you post clear pictures with clear prices of everything you have, the forum requires this, pm's for offer's are frowned upon here as it's regarded as fishing for the best price & playing members off, so you'll get no love from anyone here with this kind of sales format no matter what your standing is on evilbay.

It is also customary to introduce yourself in the relevant section & maybe sharing a little of your collection before jumping right in with your for sales pitch, this is quite the community here, it does not work like face book, or ebay for that matter - just trying to help you, not pissing on your parade.

HOLY MOSES! £240!? is thathow much a mint loosey goes for now?
Two in similar or slightly worse condition sold on Ebay in the last week or so, one for a BIN of 168.50 and one (with a slightly crumpled sticker) for £130 so I would say £240 was a bit of a stretch

It is a very nice example though.

Lets not frighten him off with too many rules & regulations or mocking the price. It is up to him after all.

Advice:

Break the ice with a few posts around the forum or on the introductions page. (Not that I ever read it. :? )
Everyone loves lots of clear pictures if your selling something.
Remember you won't be paying Ebay fees here so can offer a fairer price. You'll get a fair price in return when buying from the forum.
Be nice and tolerant.

PS: SLEL EM YUOR FGIRUES RLEALY CAHEP ADN FCUK ERVYENOE ESLE. OLNY EM ADN YUO CNA RAED TIHS COS WR'ER SCPEIAL.

If he's using the same name on ebay, then I've just bought a Yak Face off him, and had no problems.

What I will say though, and OP I hope you're listening, Is I nearly didn't bid for the Yak Face, due to looking through your completed items and finding repro cape Jawa's.

Do away with the repro crap, and you may make more in your auctions

Anyway, thanks for the Yak Face, He's smashing.

OK cheers for your help I appreciate it when I have time tomorrow I will put some stuff about myself. Not here to piss people off hoping to make this a long term thing only put the stuff about my eBay so people if they check me out can see iam not a scammer but guess I will just have to prove myself. Thanks for advice Tony.

I was not being negative with my suggestions, just trying to help guide the way if you wish to become part of the community here & sell your wares, you will find all here a friendly bunch, but we do frequently get folks coming on, no introduction no sharing of foci or collection just wanting to sell things straight off the bat, you will find folks here will be much more receptive to buying items if they are familiar with who's selling them & I am sure you'll find it a warm welcoming community if you hang about & go through the motions, always plenty of time for selling later once you feel your way round the forum, maybe make some friends along the way.
