Vintage or modern?

This was recently found when a friend was changing boiler at his mums house.
To the best of his knowledge the boilers not been touched for years.

Probably modern miniature but no idea how it got there ...

Anyone know what it is ...

Looks fairly well detailed for such a small figure especially then if that's the floor of the tantative and helmet of a rebel trooper.
