Vintage Dreaming?

I've had a recurring dream about going on holiday to Scotland and finding a newsagent that time forgot and in a cobwebby corner there is a display full of Palitoy 12 backs.

Not going to Scotland on the off-chance it ever happens tho :lol:

You know there is an old iron mongers that is just like the newsagents you mentioned (and its in scotland where I live) its full to the brim with old stock (lamps pots and pans ect - I havn't been there in for about 5 years or so though - but I do remember he had a few old toys kicking about - an old matchbox car in its 80s box if I remember right - Only just thought about it (and its a long shot) just maybe he has some old star wars stock!

Funny now I come to think of it, there is a place near me which isn't a shop, more like a storage room and its fulls of boxes and junk (for want of a better word) but you can see in from the pavement. I was nosing in one day while walking past and I caught a Palitoy logo out of the corner of my eye (I nearly dropped dead) but it was from one of the old Action Man tranpsort sets, all boxed up but just chucked on the floor.

There's never anyone there but perhaps I should pop a note through the door offering to buy any old toys. Might work :lol:

I rarely remember my dreams when I've woken up, but I've had two this week: One of which I can't repeat here (wrong forum for a start), & the other was hobby-related. Words cannot describe how annoyed I was to wake up & discover that the mint loose collection I had beautifully lime-lighted a few magical moments moments before in the land of nod was lost upon getting out of bed. Actually there are words - I was BLOODY annoyed.

Same type of dreams, the ones where you are searching for vintage SW stuff in old shops or market stalls.

I'm also into Mk2 Escorts and i used to have the same type of dreams with those as well. Is there something wrong with me?

I had a dream last night I got a Hoth Trooper MOC, and I OPENED IT!!!!
The figure was MINT, but I noticed the skirt was painted and some of the paint along the edges of it was melting off!!!
Freaky stuff!!

Yea a few times,the mrs has even said I have been saying in my sleep its the brown hair not yellow.

Has anyone else had any dreams about collecting vintage figures?

I've had several, One I had recently involved discovering a stash of vintage figures at a local shop and getting them for a song! :lol:

Yes!

I often dream of finding Uzays on a fleamarket! I also dream of reparation then the fellow collectors that helped me over years with the figures I dont need.

It is a shock to wake up after that....oh boy
