Vintage C3PO Moc query - please help

Hello there folks. This morning I received a ROTJ Kenner MOC figure but I have a few questions. Can you help out please?
There is a good healthy waffle pattern on the bubble seal, see pictures, but the figure has a chip to the paint on his hand. There is also a paint distressing to his leg and also a large unpainted area to the top of his right leg (you can see the brown area in the pics) Does this appear to be a reseal? I appreciate that the figures were mass produced relatively cheaply and that this might just be a bad figure. Opinions welcome. Thanks all

Looks good to me, probably just a bad paint app.

I have had hundreds of these sealed in baggies and a high percentage of them had some sort of paint loss - mainly small chips or areas where the paint had not been evenly distributed. This is one of the reasons Ugrades are such a farce - the idea that these figures left the factory in 'mint' condition is daft

A huge chunk of MOCs have some sort of imperfection on the paint apps. Looks like 3PO has had some sort of reaction to what ever was on the surface of his thigh before he was vac metalised.

Love the video link Iain. Did they purposely put figures out of reach so small boys cant get them. Explains why I only 3 as a child then! Probably the ones I got were the ones I could reach! :lol:
