vintage "bargains" down portabello road

The prices you see on vintage in toy shops and antique shops amazes me.

I saw this in an antique shop:-

£50 with a missing canopy and tatty box. You do get a LXW though!

Then on to a toy shop with some loose figures:-

The prices are a bit blurry, but that loose Klaatu with skirt is £29! All the rest were a similar price!

Has anyone else seen any "bargains" for sale recently?

Well over priced. Even if those are C10 mint.
Shame really cos ebay seems the only way to get a decent price (and on here!) :wink:
Makes you think if you opened a proper vintage toy store how much you could make even selling things at half that price. If you sold SW figs for £12-14 you'd make a mint (not including obvious rarities).
