Hi,

This is no expert opinion but I wanted to give you some feedback to your post, let's assume I'm not missing a rare variant.

I would venture that the broken figures are almost worthless, most folk are not sitting on a Vader's head desperate for his body to turn up or half a jaws. Loose figures with no weapons will be between £3-7ish, figures that are complete with weapons, minimal paint loss and stiff limbs will be between £8-15 again assuming these are all standard figures.

As far as lili ledy is concerned the following link will help with identification but prices on those are above me

http://www.rebelscum.com/lili-ledy.asp
http://swspaceclub.com/wbobafett/lili-ledy-variants/The bits that are quite nice would be

Yoda's cape, belt and the jawa capes, there is a cape on eBay for about £4 all depends on condition. Not sure if any of this info helps on frankly whether I've made a terrible mistake but I don't think there's a huge value with this figures.

So looking for some valuations of these models, you can see them here: http://s155.photobucket.com/user/el_rey_dk/library/Star%20wars/Aarhus?sort=3&page=1

I think I have an idea of what they might be worth after looking at ebay, but some second opinions are always welcome :)

And these models, which are in another gallery:

I have seen so many valuation requests from this guy both on here and RS - I think he is also the chap that tried to get a price war going for the R2 pop-up. I understand people not wanting to let things go too cheaply but there is nothing in this list that wouldn't be easily identifiable from a completed listings search on eBay

The agenda is that I want to find out what these models are worth, as I don't exactly know that. I have a general idea, what some of them might be worth from the top of the valuation section here and from ebay(these 2 don't always match). But as there are different variations of models, one model might be worth more without me knowing it or less because of it condition, or if it has or does not have weapons. So I'm either trying to confirm as price or get some information I didn't know. What is the harm in asking?

I think he is also the chap that tried to get a price war going for the R2 pop-up

At the time I didn't know the prices and the (for me at least) peculiar way of not being allowed to take offers from people, to get the best price possible. I guess it is a buyers marked where it is ok to get stuff cheap from the new "stupid" guys, but frown apron to try to get the marked value by offering a model to the highest bidder(which I didn't). I did get some PMs with offers and told lower ones, that someone had offered more. But in the end I decide not to sell any models, before I had a better idea what they where worth. So after a month or so, I put a price on the R2 and put it up for sale. The R2 was the first to be sold and I got 35£ more for it than I had be offered by some "friendly" guy in a PM.

Of course I could have just used ebay, but I really don't like to sell there. Had I not had to put a price on my models I would probably just have sold them to the best offer and be done with it. But now I have research the hobby and gotten into it. So that might be a good bi-product of the price rule. :D

The problem is you're wanting us to do all of the work for you. Then you're going to sell at the highest price you can. Can you see the problem?
I offered you a price that I thought was for the saber, didn't want the R2.
The variations you've got are not going to increase the prices. Not having weapons will lower them significantly. The spreadsheet on the top link is fair for complete figures but there's always going to be anomalies.

If you are referring to now I have already done a lot of work trying to figure prices out. So I'm not expecting you to do all the work nor am I forcing anyone to do it. As I am new to this I felt it would be nice to get a second opinion on prices as there might be something I had missed. Some of the models I am also still unsure of, like the Jawas as the prices for them seem to differ alot(not talking about the vinyl one). I have seen the weapon alone go for 8-10£, capes for 5-6£ and complete models go for around 9£, also some for the double of that. Also I can see one of my jawas is different than the others, small C in the copyright logo and more glossy face. So all this I'm trying to learn about here and other places. So feedback on prices is also part of that process.

Ah ok. I honestly think small details like that make little difference. Jawas sell between £9 - 15 so put them up FS at £13. If people buy them then good.

El Rey your original post should read: "Hi guys I'm gonna pretend I don't know much about these and call them models. I can't use the for sale thread any more as I'll actually have to post prices so I'm gonna post here and hope to get some PM's going for some sales"

Post them on the sales thread with prices and move them on.

Good day sir.

To be fair, I think he calls them models because English is not his first language (similar to Richard in some respects).

Kent, the intimation that Richard would ever try to rip someone off couldn't be further from the truth. He's tight, but he doesn't have the ability to rip someone off. The bloke doesn't have a bad bone in his body. The way that you tried to conduct the sale of your r2 has made people quite wary of you. Wether you meant to do this or not, you have caused a degree of mistrust in your selling tactics.

What you probably should have done is put a post up or a personal message up saying "I have had several differing offers on these so I'm not selling until I have worked out a fair price" rather then getting an offer off person x and then messaging person y saying I have been offered £65 for this and you can buy it if you want to pay more"

You will never get trust trying to hold these blind auction type sales, and people do talk to one another.

Best thing you can do is put a fs thread up with prices and then expect offers. If you want to have an auction put them on eBay.

 just to clarify Kent hasn't said that I was the one to low ball. But if it was me then in no way should it be considered low ball as I wanted the R2 saber only and offered a fair price for it. :D

That is true, but I think it related to my other hobby Warhammer, where we tend to call the figurers models, so I'm just used to that.

That was more or less what I did. At first I didn't know it was bad form to do it like this in this hobby(I have been selling a lot of Warhammer and I would say it is normal to do it that way, if more parties want what you are selling). When I was made award of this I did stopped my for sale thread for a month or more till I had figured out some prices and started the thread again and didn't sell any figurers before that.

Well that is not true, and I do in fact already have a sale thread with models I know more less what are worth. As I get more sure I move models to that album, that is why you also can see some missing links, as those models have been moved to the sale album.
