Since I've joined SWFUK, I thought I'd focus on my Palitoy figures. This has actually been a tough run and I'm still after better examples of the three ESB cards and there are still some variants that I'm after. Anyway, for now I hope you enjoy them

The saddest part is that after ALL of the above there are still variations for me to find! Palitoy is a LOT of fun. :)

For more Vader fun, check out the links below in my signature.

Cheers,
Pat

Wonderful run - congrats on pulling that lot together. Can you give me some info on Tri-Logo phase 1 and phase 2, curious if this is something I can look out for on my Han focus; thanks

Joe's tri-logo site the the 'place' to be for ANY info on Tri-Logos. Tri-logos were made in a few countries across Europe and everything from the bubble shape, size, cardback and, as Aussie highlighted, even the punch can make a variation from a specific country.

Check it out at: http://trilogo.info/carded-figure-guide/beginners-guide/

I very much think you'll be able to use it in your Han focus - I actually have eight different versions of Vader on a Tri-Logo card and trying to get hold of a 9th.

Cheers,
Pat

PS - James, once I get the collection room all set up again, I'll be able to do some group shots. Right now they are all in storage....... :(

Pat, that's a stunning collection! Really awesome stuff, hope we get to see your Vader museum again in full soon!

Stephen, Palitoy phase 1 on my website = Palitoy Type 3 and Palitoy phase 2 = Palitoy Type 1.

I can see why that confuses people but the system I used doesn't actually run in chronological order. The Type 3 variant was actually the first "phase" of production (so the earliest Palitoy Trilogo) but it wasn't ever referenced on any other gudie before so I had to introduce it and slot it in behind the more well known variations (Type 1 and Type 2 - previously known as 70b+ 70c). You can read more here: http://forum.trilogo.info/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=557

Sorry to derail this amazing limelight and thanks for linking to the site Pat!

Thanks for the info guys and once again - STUNNING Vader run! :D :D

You have some interesting cards there mate, very nice. I think when you see them in the context of a run of Palitoys like that the battered ones/condition doesn't really matter. As you say you can look out for better examples. Good work, good luck finding more!

That's a fantastic run, seriously. What with the miscard and upside down examples, they really set it apart.

Well done hombre.
