I think they're pretty cool and want a couple one day! What do most people think, an interesting side note to the star wars vintage story or overpriced bootleg rubbish?

I think the blue stars and headman especially, what price do they fetch loose and could you get them graded? A certified genuine authentic bootleg!? :D

a loose blue stars your looking in the 3 figure bracket! ive no idea what 3 figures £250 in excess off, havnt seen one in auction for a while , i believe his weapon is hard to get hold of! i love the imperial gunner uzay cardback it has a 1980s calculator on it, genius lol and headman cardback is ace

Uzay is the only bootleg worth looking into imo, a lot more work went into them compared to the others floating around.
In two minds of getting the Uzay Asker on RS atm.... :p

Yeah, costly, but they don't show up that often either.
I need to get me a pretty christmas present for myself, so I've been scouring the web these last days and bought alot of stuff,
but still missing that last piece of the year! :p

Hehe not yet, inquiring on some prices here and there on different pieces, some vintage and some modern non sw stuff,
we'll see what happens, I might get them all! :p

I like the Uzays, mainly because of the artwork on the cards. Too expensive for me, as I would rather spend my money on Kenner stuff, I think the last Uzay Asker on card that I saw on ebay went for 2-3000 USD, and that was a pretty worn card.

But all in all I think the Uzays are among the best bootlegs out there.. Compared to the lead Model Trems, these are heaven. Who ever came up with the idea of using lead as the material of choice for an action figure for kids

Whilst I can appreciate Joe Y's bootleg collection and understand character focus collectors wanting them, bootlegs do absolutely nothing for me. But then what do I know!

Your looking at £4,000 + for a Uzay Headman MOC

The last Uzay Headman MOC sold for $30000. 8)

It's a strange hobby where the imitations are 1000 times more expensive than the real thing! :D

Well one day I might look at some loose, I really like them.

I wouldn't collect the MOCs because they're so expensive and frail, but the boxed vehicles are very cool, and the ones I've seen sell in the past have been much more reasonable than the figures. They look much less 'knok off' than the figures do:

Are there any others?

Every time i see the Imperial Gunner and Head man cards i get a chuckle on, Absolutely fabulous! although i wouldnt pay more than half a buck for one!

According to SWCA, there were 5 Uzay mini rigs. Anybody know which other ones, or better still have photos?

Looking at the cardback I assume it's the 4 rigs and the battle damaged xwing. Never seen the mini rig on the cardback that's next to the xwing with fx8 in before?

They didn't release the B-Wing pilot, Klaatu, Imperial Commander or AT-AT Commander either. Perhaps it was just an intended range of toys that in reality didn't get quite that far (or it was just an advertising scam to get kids sucked in :D ) I don't remember seeing or hearing about an Uzay X-Wing - Joe Y would know for sure.
