I got my first neutral feedback this week which i admit, can happen to the best of us. But the reason given by the buyer when i contacted them to see what the problem was made my jaw drop... and then my blood boil.

Here is the feedback...

As i said, i contacted the idiot to see what the issue was and attempt to resolve it. She stated "there was nothing wrong with the stickers and they arrived 48 hours after payment was sent but [she] was not happy with the selection of stickers in the pack. [she] expected at least one picture/sticker of ET or Elliot but [direct quote]- all i got was half of ET's head and some other pictures which were quite dark and poorly taken..." :o

Some of you who have seen ET will know that most of the ****ing movie is in the dark and the stickers, being direct screen lifts, are likewise. Obviously.

I explained this to the idiot and informed her how Panini works too, ie, you get a piece of a picture in one pack then another in another pack and they match up and go in a book.

I then told the idiot that neutral or negative feedback could harm my business and if there really wasn't any issue with me as a seller and the service received and the literal, not perceived, quality of the product then could she remove it...

Being an idiot she didn't understand this and replied "sorry, i didn't realise feedback could hurt you as a seller, i was just reviewing the product"...

I then told the idiot that feedback is to rate a seller and not whether you enjoyed the movie you bought from someone or whether you got laid wearing the nice shirt you bought.

I'm livid. Obviously. I have submitted a "feedback review" request to ebay but i don't hold out much hope. I will of course be banning the idiot buyer once it has been resolved one way or another.

Rant over.

Unbelievable. Makes you wish you'd driven the package there and thrown it at her through a window. May as well have.

There really are some Grade A Retards out there! If I were you – I would hand draw a picture of ET's arse and send it her. But you'd prob get another neutral comment complaining that they didn't line up or colour was mis-matched!

I once got a neutral comments because I'd charged 15p over for postage, clearly in this woman's opinion all the packaging came free! I did send her an email saying this but no answer.

Hoorah. A victory for common sense and, i imagine, i real stretch for an idiot so well done there.

Glad its sorted Pete but this hss to be one of the funniest feedbacks ever - the only one I have seen get close was I think a neg left for a seller of a stormtrooper blaster because the buyer thought it was lifesize and wanted it for a fancy dress party

Very pleased that it came good for you in the end Pete, some right muppets about, I got a neutral about 3 years back on a coral fragment that arrived DOA, due to the post not delivering that day, read something like, DOA, not sellers fault though recommended?? :? & no contact regarding getting it changed period

If you want to walk the line with ebay you have to expect plenty of numpties, I used to work with the general public when I was a kid, soon learn'd my lesson & made the decision that I am not a general public kind of guy

 To be fair this has given me more than a couple of laughs telling people why i received my first 'non-positive' feedback. "All i got was half of ET's head..."

Think I preferred the neutral feedback, least the 'idiot' made the effort to write something for that. A+++ is just lazy!

Totally agree... Should i submit another feedback review request for it?
