I go away for a few days and NO ONE posts about Liverpool hammering the shite outta United at Old Trafford!?

Are we going soft on Jay(jedi) now or what?

PS; Yes, it is still United's title to throw away. No, I don't think they will throw it away. BUT, getting beat 4-1 at home by your biggest/fiercest rivals has gotta hurt!

Im A Pool supporter and it was nice to see Liverpool do the double over Utd and especially in such style.

But the saying goes 'He who laughs last laughs loudest' and if Utd win the title (which they will) i would take a reverse situation any day.

Time and time again we fall short when it matters, utd have looked awesome this season and were at one point 7 points behind Liverpool, When Benitez lets Liverpool off the reins they are a match for anyone, but why the f*ck he selects Lucas ill never know.

Lets just hope Beniyez can bag the Champions League this year...otherwise he might be on his way, and that would mean our spanish starlets following him.

I too support Liverpool and was made up with the Madrid and Utd results.
What pisses me off is we can do the double over Chelsea and Utd, but we lose or draw with lower teams. Are only league defeats of the season have been to Spurs and Middlesbrough.
I think it's a case of we have passed on a superb chance on winning the title and all those stupid draws especially at home will be gutting especially if Man Utd equal our league title record.
But at least we gave them a good old arse kicking at the theatre of dreams or is that now nightmares. :D

i feel i have to respond

didn't see the game as have had a cold since friday night and spent most of weekend in chair playing cod 5. watched motd and have to admit you were the best team on the day..... but ..... a league is not won on the back of one result and hopefully utd will still win the league this season as they have been the most consistant team. everyone has an off day and hopefully fergie will exact revenge when we meet in the champions league

Another good weekend results wise, with both Man U and Chelsea losing.
A good thumping win for Rafa and the boys, goal difference looks a lot better than it did a couple of weeks ago.
Be nice to push Utd all the way this year.

Certainly a good weekend for Liverpool (and prob Arsenal as well) but it's still United's to throw away. 1 point ahead with a game in hand, I think it's Portsmouth, but that stupid International break has come at a bad time for Liverpool.
Still, unfortunately, can't see United throwin it away. I live in hopoe mind.
