Well god damm it
Frankenstein has pulled out of 196 with a suspected broken foot its begining to look like aldo all over again i know there are a few martial artists among us what are your thoughts on it im leaning towards a mcgregor vs nate diaz main event (or co main seen as holm vs tate is still on) which i think will be exciting it could have been cowboy cerrone but he just fought at 170 3 days ago
I cant see mcgregor  turning down any fight
Eire motherfuckaz

That change in weight doesn't suit mcgregor it could be back to Aldo now for a rematch.

Now I don't know much about mma. Watched the fight. It seemed macgregor was giving him a pasting till he caught him with the punch that made him wobble.

The thing I do like about the ufc is that no matter how brilliant a fighter is, one punch/kick/slip is all it takes to be all over.

A £7 bet on Diaz returned £46 for me.
Good lad and a very entertaining build-up and fight.

On a side note, it was bad for the UFC and Dana White with Holm and McGregor losing.
Holm v Rousey is now off and the Conor vs anyone hype train has been derailed.

Still, Conor v Aldo hopefully for UFC 200 and Diaz vs RDA or Robbie Lawler.

What a week its been for me got to watch the ufc and then the next day had spinal surgery
My man lost though he gassed which i thought i would never see i guess him having two breakfast for months trying to pile on the pounds had a negitive effect :( diaz reach also was a problem for mcgregor he certinaly won the first round but every punch he threw he tried for the ko with there is a very good and honest breakdown on youtube for anyone that is interested done by luke thomas on mmafightingonsbn i just got to watch it there now because literally after the fight i was away to hospital to have acdf surgery anyone gone through this before?? Morphine is a trip the hospital food wasnt so bad either

^ Hope your back's getting better.

When either of the Diaz brothers are on form, their opponents often run out of steam.
Their pressure is relentless and opponents don't get chance to catch a break to recompose.
Being triathletes they both are going to have good cardio.

In the first, we saw Nate getting caught a lot. He put that down to lack of sparring on 11-days notice.

However you look at it, Conor's ground game is seriously lacking. No shrimping to try and pull guard and turned after a few punches. Then there was a lack of defending his neck.
I know Nate's jiu-jitsu is solid, but Conor looked like a white belt out there on the ground.

I never liked conor, but he was humbled and that impressed me.

I also think what went against McGregor was the sudden increase in weight. It's ok putting on the weight but it takes time to get the power with it. I think he now realises that. There's no doubt he was getting good strikes but they weren't enough to put a heavier man down.
At the start I thought McGregor was to cocky but as I started to follow him I really grew to like him. I now realise he is just trying to get as many bums on the seats as he can. Just like when Ali started winding up his opponents. He does have a set of balls to try what he did. I have no doubt he will push himself to get back to prove to himself he can do better at that weight.
I think Aldo has started mouthing off again because he made a **** of himself the last time and thinks he can redeem himself. But the way he gloats about McGregors defeat makes him a bad loser in my eyes. He had his chance an it was clear he froze on the night. Even the fight commentators wer saying his legs looked heavy getting into the ring. He made the mistake of letting McGregor get inside his head before the fight even started and paid a heavy price :)

I think Aldo wins a rematch.
Conor won the first in quite shocking fashion as Aldo is an absolute beast. It was a huge win for anyone but, for somone like Conor, it really pushed him to new heights.
If he can ko arguably one of the top 3 pound-4-pound fighers in 13 sceonds then he believes can beat anyone.
But this jump to 155, then to 170 was too much. Diaz on a 3-month training camp beats him in the first.
I think Conor loses to Aldo, maybe beats Edgar.
I also think conor will try out the 155 division, but should no longer be in line for the RDA fight. Unless he successfully defends his belt at 145.

Yeah it definitely would be some rematch and your right I think McGregors even surprised himself against Aldo. There's one thing for sure Aldo won't be spooked in a rematch and McGregor would need to be ready for a dog fight if they meet again.
I hope they do go for rematch it would be some crowd puller. It would tight but I have to back my fellow country man figures crossed :)

Anymore info has McGregor retired? or is it some kind of money spinner to get bums on the seats again?

Only after reading kimbo slice has just passed away.
I wonder was it drugs related? I used to watch him on his home made videos out on the streets in the states. He certainly was a handful for any man!

kimbo will probably have had an anurism or heart attack no doubt, all those bare knuckle head punches or steroids

Reading the comments on BBC's story about this today and opinions on how worthy all the media attention surrounding his death was seemed to be quite divided to say the least!

Part 2 tonight McGregor-Diaz looking forward to this!
I hope mcgregor wins but if Diaz takes him to the ground again I think he will have a big problem.
I think it's around 4am but not sure.

Just set to record.
Taking Diaz again. Should be another good fight.
Did you get to watch it yet? I missed it i couldn't get it to work on computer. Reviews say it was one of the best fights in along time one of the best. Is there any links where it shows the full fight?
Apparently McGregors foot is broken with all the leg kicks. Did he deserve to win? Daiz claims he should have won.

Very close fight.
Had it 3-2 Diaz. A draw would be a good decision IMO.
Conor injured his shin. He's not much of a muay Thai kicker so probably needs to toughen up shins.
He did knock Diaz down 3 times which is impressive, but didn't capitalise and Diaz just kept coming.
I recorded it on BT sport.
There used to be a site to stream but not sure of the rules to post it.

It sounds like it was a real battle I won't miss part 3! for sure.
I'm not sure about that either about posting up sites regarding rules so don't chance it incase.
Surly it will be up somewhere on the net in the next few days hopefully.

Any boxing fans? What about this reported £75m May weather vs McGregor fight that's on now.
Has he a chance or is Mayweathers defence too good? Its hard to see May weather losing a boxing match. But at the same time it would be foolish to bet against Mc Gregor getting a knockout.
This will be interesting for any boxing fans.
