dream on Craig, I think TH has one or two more seasons in him but if he went it would be no great loss. The recent dip in form is all due to mentality not skill, and next season they should be a bit wiser.

Hopefully we'll beat Newcastle tomorrow and get a bit of confidence back, but I'm not confident of that.

When our kids were playing against your reserves of Gerrard and Carragher (see I saw the game Jabba :wink: ) you must have been impressed. That is Arsenal's future, regular 6-3 wins at Anfield :wink:

I was impressed with your reserve side but it's okay turning on the style in a few games each season, but when you need to dig deep you always come up short, ie Bolton every time you play them !! :lol:

Arsenal have quality players but how long will they stay for?

Lehmann is a top keeper but he is around 37
Toure and Gallas are top defenders but they both want to be winning trophies and I cannot see Arsenal winning anything for at least 3 more years.
Fabregas is like Paul Scholes in that he can win a game on his own but when the team is struggling he becomes petulant which doesn't help the team.
Henry will never be able to perform at his previous level. His injuries plus the fact he is nearly 30 will all start to take their toll on him next season.

Gotta say I'm surprised at Arsenal their season really has exploded since those 3 defeats in 8 days!

They do have a lot of very talented youngsters coming through/ in the team, but I think there is something wrong or just not right at the minute. Saying that from what I've seen of yesterday's game Arsenal could and probably should have won 4-1. It's their age old problem, brilliant to watch, brilliant build up play but they don't wanna shoot unless it's gonna be the prefect goal.

I hope they sort it out and finish fourth, god only knows Spurs, Everton or Bolton won't be able to compete in CL as well as Arsenal could. (No offence to the first 2 clubs I just don't think they have a big/deep enough squads.) As for Bolton the thought of them in Europe is embarrassing!

The relegation battle is getting very interesting now!

Our youth team has just got to the youth cup final for 2 season running now so I'd say there is no problem there.

I don't think Rafa will risk making too many changes in the summer as it will only set us back yet another year. I expect Dudek, Kewell, Fowler, Zenden, Cisse, Pongolle and Le Tallec to go. There are question marks over Bellamy but it just depends how he behaves in training and his attitude to when he finds himself sat on the bench.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some players like Riise and Finnan go. There's no doubt Benitez has a ruthless streak, anyone who doesn't think is up to it or who he feels he can get a better player in to replace will be booted out.
