Trying my hand at painting!

Inspired by Steve from his wicked paintings of the SW characters thought I'd give it a try.

As you can see by the left one, t'was a bit of a mess when started it but practice make's perfect as they say so getting there. Right is where it's at at the mo.

That looks just great, how big is it? I love the clarity and sharpness of it.

Fanx guys. It's 16" x 20". Not too big but not too small... jus right!

When my cousin gave me tips on how he paints he said he just builds up the shapes roughly and goes over n over them which is why it looked like that on the left. But after a while of doing this I went back to how I used to do it, straight for the kill and go for detail straight away, lol. Just like my drawings.

Chris is a bit of an artist too, did me a superb fett picture for SS.

I always loved art, i can direct copy any drawing, or still art, item in front of me, but could never draw from the imagination quite as well lol.
