I'm sure there are quite a few of you out there who know this show but I thought I'd post up this youtube link to this episode as it has some Star Wars bits and pieces towards the end of it.

It's a pretty good show although I'm really not too sure about Jordan and some of his prices. He does seem to be in it for the buck but he does have a fairly good knowledge about most vintage toys. It's well worth a look through all the other episodes as it shows you that there're some great finds still out there although the price for the Boba Fett prototype is a little high on the pilot episode.

He over pays for somethings and he under pays for several things. He is giving dealers at toy shows a warped sense of prices...some in a good way and some in a bad way. It is an interesting show, but this guy has been on the forums for years (Hollywood Heros)...some of his pieces were cool, but IMO overpriced.

I like the show- but feel a lot of it is a set up. I will never believe that kid from episode 1 spent $16,000 for a rocket boba fett prototype. I guess its got to be exciting so .........

Sure it is staged for TV but I think of it like this: Jordan meeting up with ex employees and comic book guys, rummaging through boxes for gems so he can resell at toy fairs is EXACTLY what he has been doing for the last 15-20 years so while it might be staged it is done so in order for us to get a look at how he makes his living.

The Rocket Fett was totally a plant to make the show look interesting as were many of the things that he will "uncover" in basements and garages but sometimes I do believe the people he sells to on the show are real, I remember reading that the guy that bought the Rocket Fett was actually a multi millionaire in the states, he just looks like a tramp but he was the owner of a big clothing company or something and collects toys, so it isn't out of this world to imagine Jordan asking him to go on the show as a favour to show toys can get big ££.

That Rocket Fett guy is for real as he's in that Warrior film as some sort of mixed martial arts guy (I think that's where his clothing line comes from). Also he turns up in a later episode buying some super rare Mego figure that his son makes him buy.

It is all a little Hollywood but I still enjoy seeing some of the people behind the various vintage toy lines and getting some background info from them. Also, as I'm into lots of different vintage toys it's just nice to see what he digs up although Jordan's pricing system is always a little strange to me.

It's just a shame that most of us probably will never get the chance to to meet up with these types of sellers who are happy to let their things go at a fairly low price. I'm all for people making a living and I don't mind paying more for someone's time they spent finding these things but it would be nice to see some of it end up straight in the collectors hands from time to time.

Awesome, tanxs for the heads-up. Been waiting for this episode to be on youtube.

No worries, I've been looking for over a week now so it was nice to see it along with episodes 6 and 7 that for some reason I couldn't seem to find before today.
