A friend of mine has tipped me off that TK Maxx is selling Star Wars 1000 collectibles and memorabilia stories for £12.99 reduced from £19.99.

I'm off to pick a copy up after work today. In case you're unaware TK Maxx is one of those shops that has stock in one week and then never again!

Yeah - I saw a couple of these in my local HomeSense - is it a good book? Worth getting?

Got the book. There is some fantastic stuff in there but the bits I'm interested in (figures, ships etc) is far from complete. Although it is presented in sections (figures, clothing, food etc) within each section there appears to be no order so it could be jumping from 1999 to 2007 and thn 1977 on the same page which can be a little confusing. Some of the comments about how he acquired the pieces can be interesting. Would have been disappointed if I paid £20 as it isn't worth the price of the SW Vault but is worth the money I paid. Approx. 550 pages but the majority of it is stuff I will never own, or have interest in owning, such as Jar Jar in flight sick bags!
A little bit on blue smag but no mention of DT? Some Takara, 3packs, LL, POPY etc which has helped clarify to a newbie what they are!

I BROUGHT IT TODAY FROM THERE FOR AN AMAZING £1.00
it had been reduced so many times judging by the stickers.

I've had that book for a few years, it's brilliant and a bargin at £13 notes. Some wicked stuff from Steve Sansweets collection in there and the stories that go with them.
