box looks like it's still factory sealed top and bottom but close-up on hand looks glued or am I just being paranoid?

It's not just me then. Disgrace to pass it off as factory sealed if it's been glued though.

I fancied his Obi Wan (not literally) think I'll pass now.

"I'm not sure what that is, but it does look like it has either melted out from a factory defect because the box is still factory sealed and never been opened or removed."

I have seen many glue jobs done to stormies over the years and this looks like one (and not a good job at that). These where not glued on in the factory.....so unless he has been doing some midnight moves in the box...I think it has been repaired.

here he is again look! different seller, higher price.

I'll ask the same question about his hand, see what answer I get this time!

"Hello,
Thanks for your interest, the hand have some melted plastic, that happens when the figure is exposed to high temperature. Many times they get stored on a garage with no temperature control and is quite common on the troopers and boba fett this melted plastic on the hands. Remenber the box still factory sealed. Thank you"

not convinced

I have owned and seen several 12 inch stormies. This type of plastic is not going to melt in hot storage (**** the tape on the box would have melted before the figure would have). Looks like a glue repair to me, but do what you want.

I've seen ones with glued on hands and it looked exactly like this one!

I'm after a Denys Fisher anyway but might have to resort to a Kenner if I don't find one soon! Not this one though.
