eBay prices through the roof this weekend, ESB MOCS with good AFA grades going for well over £200, lots of Trilogo MOCS again with decent AFA grades, plus some very nice quality ungraded going for way more than normal. Some Pailtoy 65's also going for high end prices. Some were from well known sellers, others less known.

It seems the bubble shows no sign of slowing down

Nearly got one that i really want ..unless my sniping is successful bet i get zapped at the last second

You're not kidding, was sure I was going to pick up 3 moc's but only got one in the end - just sat with my mouth open as the bids kept flying up in the last few seconds! Final prices were much much higher than I thought.

It's when the bid's come flying in at the end, I become all fingers and thumbs and tend to lose the auction, unless I really really want something then I do put a high bid in, but even then can't guarantee I win :(

Nothing seems to go cheap

And there always seems to be only one higher bidder on the items I'm going for :x

..and another thing! The bloody countdown clock on Ebay is well out. If you just sit there and watch it count down the bloody thing goes out. Refresh and it's currently running around 90 seconds slow for me! That's bollocks that is. I could easily miss out on last minute bids! :p

i collect moc budget cards these days and im finding it increasingly hard too get cheap moc's on ebay. prices are high at the moment. i dont have desposable income too buy the decent stuff....still its the thrill of the chase that keeps me interested 8)

Nowt wrong with that. Set a budget and stick with it. I used to set a budget for the month, now that same budget is set for two weeks :? Dunno how that happened

I hate eBay and never bloody win auctions

BTW Mumbo, I have a canary going cheep if you want it :?

As long as your not robin me

I'd be cuckoo to do that

Any way nest we forget and go off thread, the prices collectors are being asked to shell out are eggsorbitant, a yoke if you ask me, that angry I might tweet about it, owl get banned if I carry on, so ill stop being a tit,

So:

I agree with Ponch. My budget is restrictive so budget mocs are my arena, but I have seen some stupid prices on eBay, like everything else though, supply and demand

I don't think the new films to be released have helped, as there is obviously the rekindled interest if " investment" buyers, that are not collectors

Like a hawk just swooped in at the last minute and scored myself a nice ESB Chewie 41 back. Woop! It's a jungle out there

£27 ain't bad. It's got the proof missing but looks ok. One of the harder ones to come across at a budget.
