just wondering howq you lot decided which fig you would focus on.at min i luke hoth is favourite as this was the first fig i remember ever getting and is one of my all time favs

If I were to start one it would be probably be Greedo as that was my first figure. SW or ESB figs are good as theres plenty of different figs/cardbacks/prototypes to find.

I chose 2-1b as it was one of a couple of figures which had nobody listed as having a focus on it on a list compiled on rebelscum last year. I bought a couple at one of the Empire Days and then moved to ebay. It's been a bit of a limited focus to be quite honest, once the Kenners and easier Palitoys are gone there's very little left out there you can get your hands on. The meccano rotj cardback I posted a few days ago was the first addition I've made to the focus for 6 months.

the down side to luke hoth is he has no star wars or potf card ,my other 2 choices were chewwie and luke hoth as they have different pics on card front ,but then saw the price  so sacked that idea .
so gonna go with luke hoth

just been looking on cocos site ,is there only 3 variants of this figure and can anyone tell me how many card backs there are

Luke Hoth was a fairly late ESB fig but there will be a fair few cardbacks starting with the ESB 45 backs Palitoy and Kenner, then ROTJ cards. There might also be some foreign cards and bootlegs to find. I reckon there'd be around 5-6 easier cards before things got more tricky.

Its not a figure where you get endless variations and cardbacks like some but it should keep you busy for a while

The trilogo is a fairly rare and pricey one I believe. There was no POTF one released but there is this

On palitoy there's a 45a, 45b, 45c, 65d & 70b. The tri logo is a little tricky.

See rebslcum for the Kenner list:-

On other foreign cards there's Canada, and a German General Mills.

Hope that helps!

My advice is don't do it !!

Having a single character focus is very tough and can be boring when you run out of things to collect and end up selling them for a loss. I had a Han focus and managed to get a few things but I soon lost interest.

You will get more enjoyment from continuing your hunt for a complete set of mint loose figures.

I could include a weapon for you if you won it, although it will look like a Zuckuss rifle, not a normal Hoth Snowtrooper one. There are only 4 or 5 different weapons that came with the Polish figures it and seems the were packaged fairly randomly!!
