As the article shows, the problem with 'sneakers' is that they disintegrate over time, it can take as little as 5 years for the foam to turn to dust (much like the Dagobah play set!)

People do collect them and sell them for a lot of money, but it's a bit of a waste of time as you ultimately end up with a box of yellow dust :lol:

One style crumbled but the majority don't.personally I'd put more money into leather/rubber lasting than the plastic bubbles of MOCS. A pair of Adidas shelltoes will last way longer than a moc Rancor keeper IMO

The rubber and leather do, but it's the foam that falls apart which most trainers have in the soles. Take a look here:

Interesting that hey replace the soles, I wonder if repro's might become an issue in the long term... or maybe a solution?
