Episode 14 sees the podcast return to it's familiar roots after last months Anaheim Special.

Joining me for the interview this month is none other than Star Wars Forum founder Edd Grant (Edd_Jedi), where we discuss the forum, his love of trilogos and Star Wars computer games amongst other things. It was a pleasure to catch up with Edd who is someone we have been after for a while as podcast guest.

Amongst the news segment this month, Rich speaks with Shane Turgeon about his upcoming book 'Force in the Flesh : Book 2', since the interview was recorded he has been announced as a guest for the summers Farthest From event, so be sure to preorder his book so you can get it signed at the event.

This months LA sees Jez delve deeply into items purchased by The Gent and Todd G Iganti, whilst also giving shout outs to Gorneesh, Jedi_Masters, Bruce White, Timbo, Lee Gray, Metaphor, HellHippie, Greedodidn'tshoot, Dark Del Toro and Ross Barr.

In this months oddballs Grant discusses Star Wars Insider Magazine with editor Jonathan Wilkins, whilst he also catches up with forum member Daniel Burgess during this months events as they discuss the recent Watford Filmfair Convention which he attended.

As well as this Pete looks at the recent auctions in the Market section and we have an intriguing quiz hosted by Jez in the Intro.

Hi Lee, we are totally independent from everywhere and have never been asked to do something for Vectis or any of the other groups we've chatted to. However, we have costs which run into the hundreds each year. Hosting fees, business cards, any promotional stuff at all....etc. We asked Vectis if they'd like to sponsor us to help some of the costs and they agreed. We are still shelling out money regularly ourselves though and we just want to ensure we can get costs covered somehow. It means that we can focus on putting our money into comp prizes, organizing events etc...

That's some really cringeworthy sponsoring going on elsewhere in the podcasting world. These guys want the host to do the selling like something out of an archive American TV clip from the origins of broadcasting where a chat show host whips out the ****ing cereal box apropos of shag all.

I like science podcasts and my arse is clenched to hear a professor of neurology, for one, demean himself by gushing over disposable razors.

Anyway, I hope your Vectis thing covers your costs so I can hear more shows.

I did like your rainbow one though for SWFUK, "bungle you c....." I nearly crashed my car.

I've got that TVTimes too and it is great . I poured over that one as a kid. I'm sure that, despite itv being very regional then, SW was national. It was certainly 7.15 in STV land. It took five years for SW to get on telly. ESB took eight and a half years.

Strangely SW came on itv just as it was coming out on rental video.
