This isn't a new site but I hadn't seen it before today, maybe some of you haven't either. It's the guy/studio that did some of the old Kenner photography. He sells prints of the images used for the boxes/cardbacks etc. Some of the images are incredible! It's great to see them on their own without the box art around them.

A personal favourite would be the Luke X-Wing on Dagobah photo :)

This site is awesome. His stuff is excellent.

BTW if this was RS you'd be getting flamed now for not using the search function.

Ed its an awesome site. I had Kim print me up that exact same Dagobah scene and the scene from the AT-AT box front and the scene from the Dewback box art. I kindly had him print them up in 16x20" sixe prints. I then had them framed. I'd highly recommend these to anyone. 8)

Grant,

Do you have any pics of them framed? Just to give mean insight.

Cheers

Kim Simmons is a real great and kind person. As the most of you know I collect 35mm slides and transparencies of photos he shot in the past. I have exchanged a lot mails with him and he is always taking his time to answer every mail, even if it is totally non-sales related, for example he helped me decide which slide scanner to buy, tought me a lot about image processing, color calibration, gave a lot of insight about certain shots, etc... It really amazes me what detail he still remembers about the different shots he took 30 years ago. I have written a blog post about him, which you can read here: http://www.home-of-boushh.com/?p=628

He has scanned most of his old work in high resolution from the original 8x10 films in his archive, that's why you can order most pictures in real big size and they will still look excellent/sharp. It happened to be that I was in possession of 3 8x10 transparencies that he didn't have scanned in high resolution of that size before. So he asked me to ship the films to him, he professionally cleaned them and after scanning returned them to me and included prints of each transparency and 7 35 mm Indiana Jones slides as a gift, totally free of charge. I can say that the 8x10 prints look amazing. Highly recommended. :) He also maintains a Facebook page (TheManWhoShotLukeSkywalker), answers any question and also takes requests for motives he may not have listed on his website for order.
