I agree, I don’t blame Levy, assuming he wants approx 150m and not something daft like 200m. Kane is 28, so at his peak, has dodgy ankles and a lot of miles on the clock (similar to Rooney, I can’t see him being a top level/top 4 striker aged 33), but he is still one of the best PL strikers there are. Arguable him and Salah are the best two, looking at it based on the last 3/4 years. Levy’s only concern is what is best for Spurs. I wouldn't expect a chairman to do anything else. Kane has tried to get a move without burning his bridges with the fans. You can’t force a move AND keep the fans on side, although he has tried his best. It will just look a bit daft when he scores and kisses the badge in a few games, or spouts off about how he loved Spurs and he was never going to leave. We all know the truth. I don’t, necessarily, want to see the Spurs fans hammer him, but I hope they don’t just act as if nothing even happened. I know trying to force a move is par for the course in football, but that doesn't mean fans should just ignore it. Worthless Cup draw has been made. Man U home to WH looks tasty. Liverpool get their obligatory other PL side with an away trip to Norwich. Chelsea get Villa at the Bridge. Spurs are away to Wolves, which is another tricky one. Arsenal and Leicester will have too much for AFC Wimbledon and Millwall. And would you beleive it, City get a home draw against one of the weakest sides left in the competition. What are the odds? I’m sick of pointing out how many ****ing cushy draws they get, it got ridiculous 2 years ago FFS
