Hope everyone is ok!!

There doesnt seem to be any let up in sight!

Has anyone heard from Chris (Caswelbot)

I keep seeing Chertsey on the news! It doesnt look good! :(

Really getting fed up with all this stormy weather, wind, rain, more wind etc

I work in Evesham, Worcestershire a riverside town and the Avon has already flooded the park and closed the temporary footbridge due to the weather. Worcester is flooded and the train service between Worcester and Oxford is cancelled due to the weather, but I feel for people affected in the worst parts of Somerset, Berkshire and Surrey

Yep...my thoughts go out to all those affected by the flooding and storms, I live high up so no flood issues, but some pretty astounding winds tonight :!:

Keep safe all :D

Allready saw it on the news a few times, seems you guys have rough weather in some parts. Hope you guys can stay safe and don't get to much damage if all.

Hope all is well and everyone keeps safe, the damage caused by flooding can be terrifying.

From one extreme to another this what we've been facing the past few days, first pic is looking from a town called Gisborne towards our town of Sunbury, second is from a plane landing at Melbourne airport looking towards the Sunbury fires. All deliberately lit    20 homes lost fifty state wide.

Stay safe fellas.

I feel very sorry for all involved, but I think it's time people started to accept the facts. You cannot control the weather - no amount of money can stop it. The only sensible thing to do is not live or build in flood planes, it's that simple. It's a waste of money going through this same saga every couple of years, they just need to accept the fact that low-lying areas flood and there's nothing they can do to stop it. It's only going to get worse, just like The Maldives will disappear beneath the sea within 100 years. Go and live somewhere else, for your own sake.

Ryan....bloody typical one extreme to another, can't understand these idiots that deliberately star fires, crazy

Edd...agreed, it's about common sense on where you build however, coastal areas and areas surrounding the Thames for example, there needs to be more investment by the Govt ( great that they are talking with the Dutch on how they have dealt with reoccurring flood issues).

We can't control the weather unfortunately, and things will only get worse

Keep safe all :D

I trod in a puddle yesterday on my way into London and my left trainer got slightly wet. It was dry by the time i got to the station but i was still pretty pissed off. :x

Aye, my heart bleeds for you lot. I mean it's not as if all Britain's weather comes from the Atlantic and my island is between you and it!

Besides, what you're calling the wettest winter in 50 years, we'd call a good summer!

Well its been raining a storm here the last 24 hours, till early hours this morning, major power cuts & only got ours back an hour ago, winds well over 100mph, not got off to bad considering as we don't get flooded, but have had two windows blow out, some fencing wrecked, a shed roof is in the field next door & my large workshop heavy metal roof started peeling off, thankfully I have bodged it on so it won't lift more, but scary stuff, loads of trees down near me as well, really feel for those in areas worse affected.

& Ryan, thats sick!, folks starting fires there is bound to affect lives/homes & businesses, sheer stupidity & selfishness, fools!

Hope everyone stays safe.

seems like another world watching this going on down south on the news everynite whilst im sat up here in scotland with hardly even any rain where i am the whole winter so far , it does indeed look awful and helps put anything that was annoying me into perspective seeing people being put thru this much upset and upheaval , heart goes out to those worst hit ,hopefully this will start to calm very soon
