I have a photo from Leicester Square Odeon from 2002. It was 'The EP2 Line Strikes Back' 24hour camp for the first Episode 2 tickets.

It's the only Star Wars film I've only seen once. Utter, utter shite, I couldn't believe how boring it was. I do have it as part of the Blu-ray boxset but have no plans to watch it, and go out of my way to avoid it whenever it pops up on the telly.

Episode 2 is a collection of epic moments connected by gubbins

Opening is **** with terrorist incident
Zam wessel chase is fun
Anakin and padme travel is painful
Kenobi on kamino is interesting
Jango fett fight is great
Anakin/padme love scene in field is hideous
Anakin getting angry and getting mother rather good as is yoda feeling it
Lars family home is good
Kenobi getting in trouble with slave 1, excellent
Kenobi on genoesis is good with dooku
Anakin and padme in computer game on genosis is ****
As is the comic c-3po bollocks,
Padme, kenobi, anakin arena fight bearable
Big jedi battle good in arena
Cracking bigger battle superb
Dooku kicking kenobi and anakin asses rather good
Yoda v dooku - an epic star wars moment
Ending rather good with the display of clone strength

Imo its the poorest star wars film, saved only by the yoda moment. Its a product of its time where studios seemed to want big set piece moments which they thought constituted a movie. Thats why in the 00s us tv really made an impact because people wanted good stories, well written, well acted. Clones was neither. Episode 1 warned us that lucas had lost it completely, but some reasonable moments again, saved by liam neeson. Although i thought episode 3 was good.
