sorry if theire is a topic already simular to this

but what ever you think fits here post it here

i'l start

so what's up with people selling afa moc's for crazy amounts

and not mentioning what back it's got

i mean if its afa graded then you most know something about collecting and they should know that posting a pic of the back or at least ad some info on what it is , i think this is the most important part of selling moc's

is this just lazy ness , i can tell you this iam def dont have time to send q. to every seller asking what kind of back it's got

it's ****ed up and damn irretating

thanks for letting me state my mind

also i wont get in to the fact that people are asking 2550 for a afa graded biker scout

and 1550 for an afa just the card of a biker scout

as RUN-D.M.C says "It's like that, and thats the way it is" hugh.

LOL

same with anything you collect, people wanting the run, focus, cardback ect drives up competition and prices.

I know very little about cardbacks, but the little i do know is courtesy of the guys on here and the Kellerman book.

Are those proof card prices? perhaps a POTF card? Can't see anyone trying to get a used card back graded and I can't see AFA grading one ( Or WOULD they!!! )

That is the next step after they are done with U graded minirigs/creatures. Also, don't undervalue your cardback or else they'll make you pay more. I can't wait to see the cardback tiers. :)

again my knowledge is letting me down , i can search for them on ebay and post a link if you like , but more inportanly ; what is a proofcard and , iv they are , does that mean that theire worth what they are asking

As Emiel said the proof card is a step of the pre production phase , so that was something that survived from before the toys / packaging went into production. Pre production is a whole different side of the hobby and its best to do your homework.

As for the carded POTF, well I wouldn't pay it, but its an AFA 95 which is one level off of 100...

Proof cards, and high graded cards command high prices...expensive stuff

Yeah, especially those unproduced POTF proofs. That seller has some really nice pieces.

sorry for all the q. and thanks for all the help

iam tring my best to gather alot of info

Jimmy the guy who is selling the proof cards and the AFA95 stuff is pretty famous for having some really high quality stuff but being very expensive. It is of course his perogative, he can charge what he wants. But, quite a lot of his stuff has been on Ebay for years.
In his defence he is a decent guy to buy from. I bought from him once (never go on Ebay drunk!) and it was as smooth a deal as I've had.
