Takara 8"

Hi Guys,

I have gotten completely sidetracked recently and find myself more and more intrigued by all things Japanese.
So with that in mind any rough valuation on the Takara 8" line MOC in say C7/8 condition would be greatly appreciated.

I know they wont be particularly easy or inexpensive to find. I know of one Chewie going on RS for around $1400, would that be representative of the current price for an MOC Chewie? Any ideas on what the set of 4 might set me back? Are any of the 4 known to be harder/easier to source than the others? Any insight from someone with a bit of Takara knowledge would help me out a lot and perhaps give me a long term goal!

Bloody awesome, but bloody hard to find and expensive no doubt. Heres a link to the one for sale on RS, its actually $1600 but is graded 85 which I would imagine is very high for these http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1102952/

Takara only items don't seem to as much as they use to. Saying that- I have only seen the stormtrooper MOC sell for £750 ish and that was on a beater.

I recon you could be looking at £750-£1000 each, but I really am guessing here as I'm not familiar with any being sold anywhere.

These are some of my favourite MOCs despite not owning any...yet!

Vader is the most desirable (no surprise there) and IIRC the last one I saw for public sale went for approx $2400 but I think it was AFA from the Lucasfilm auctions. There's a couple of cardback variations as well specifically on the Chewbacca. On average these will fetch from $800 to $2500 depending on condition. They often have cracked bubbles due to the size of the figures. Not especially rare but certainly HTF.
