Takara 4 set Darth/Stoomtrooper/ Chewbacca/C3PO 8inch figures

Hoping someone can help with an indication of price or maybe interested in purchasing...

One of my team told me he has 4 carded figures of the takara 8 inch figures that were made in 1978(I will have pics tomorrow)
i only found one on ebay which sold for about 800 quid C3PO, but would think the other 3 maybe worth a bit more..especially as stoomtrooper is a typo..
I will do some research tomorrow but would like to know what the members might think its worth

They are all in excellent nick apparently..but wants to sell all four as a set..

He reckons they are worth 4 1\2 to 5 grand as a set, wont look at splitting them up...
will get some pics up soon...

There you go, sounds like he may be a bit off on value as Chewy is apparently the hardest one of the lot to find.

the c3po Takara sold on ebay in January, for a little bit more than chewie..
Was reading today Darth was the hardest to find...

I guess at the end of the day, it really boils down to how badly someone wants it..

What i normally tend to do is ask here first as i thought quite a few of you are very much on the ball..and as mentioned before, saved me a ton of cash when i thought i was buying the real deal..
And rather than leave my all my eggs in one basket. i then do research...
I wish i did know more, then i wouldnt have let a toltoys card worth about 6 grand slip through my hands...I guess im a glutton for punishment..coming back for more...Everyone here told me it was worth 100 to 600 bucks, bar one guy who said put another 0 on the end..Unfortunately being a Priest means i put too much faith in people.
