took them back today as they were all dieing .when i got back to the river they were dead as well so it must be the cold weather.
 
I was gonna say 'you killed them!' until I read the bit about the ones at the river all being dead.
Like you said, must be the weather!

Ahh well, not like you paid money for them! :D
 
Shame. Must be the weather. That often happens when a warm spell is soon followed by a very cold one.

i was gonna put them down the drain but it meant lying to little lass and i couldnt have lived with the guilt .so i walked back to the river carrying a ****ing yellow bucket to get rid of some dead tadpoles

luckly i was in my work clothes .i put some of them yellow work gloves on as well and had to walk past the local but only past a old women walking her dogs
 
i think the sharp frost got some of mine this morning but still got plenty left :roll:

hopefully it wont ****ing snow anymore :evil:
 
jabba , i think you may have been premature (again :lol: ) all the taddies on top that i thought were dead in the frost last week have nearly all hatched. i was sure they were dead and left them in for the others to eat. but had a day off today ( flu, AGAIN :( ) and they have all started wriggling about and swimming :)
 
nah they were dead all layed at bottom of water .didnt even look like tadpoles.and them i spilt on patio and brushed in to next doors were definatly dead :lol: :lol: :twisted:
