Bum Face indeed! What child could think it looked like anything else?! And it does beg the question what on earth the creature designers for Star Wars were thinking back in the 70's? You can't tell me they didn't know exactly what it looked like!
Anyway, monstrous bum chin, ludicrous colour scheme and crappy card art aside (why couldn't Kenner use an actual photo of the character instead of that piss-poor 'original artwork' that they decided to festoon the card with?), the figure still has its charm! Many's the happy time I had playing with old Bum Face and his Cantina cohorts in my Palitoy Cantina as a boy, re-enacting Obi-Wan lopping his arm off (even though it really should be Dr Evazan's arm on the floor, not Ponda Baba's, since he's clearly the one who draws his blaster [see 1:47-1:50 here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7rfcMNc8xk, not to mention the fact that Ponda Baba has flipper hands in any case for at least some of the scene [see 0:30] before magically transforming into fingered hands, and leaving completely aside the fact that both he and Dr Evazan seem to teleport out of the Cantina never to be seen again, the instant after Obi-Wan flashes his saber, but I digress...).
Where were we...? Oh yes, Walrus Man! :-D OK, I've got 5 of them, with differing shades of green on their heads and hands, and different shades of pink and white on their face-asses. I think my favourite is my PBP, if only because its pale green head and hands stand out so much.
And lastly, I have a Palitoy 20-back reseal.
