As a few had almost guessed, it was to do with the 1000th latest acquisition page approaching. I've been planning for some time to donate a carded figure to the first poster of a new acquisition on the 1000th page to celebrate the incredible landmark being reached. Well done everyone.

I wanted to give it to somebody who was actually posting acquisitions rather than simply posting comments so that somebody who is actively collecting got it. I think the prize has gone to a very deserving winner.

I won't post the prize myself, he can when he gets it 8)

To be honest Liam only just made it himself! The page was only 3 posts off having no acquisitions at all, which would have really pissed on my idea. I would have had to do a rollover on the 2000th page :lol:
