StarKiller VC 100 trying to find at decent price

Hi all,

my first time on here,

i'm trying to find starkiller at a decent price, well any expanded universe figures, their so bloody expensive!!! annoys me that people who sell these are ripping off the little guy!!! anyway any help appreciated,

I've looked on ebay, amazon, and the usual suspects,

i'm more thinking the shop round the corner that are selling figures at normal prices!!

cheers guys, will keep looking, what other figures are out there, that are hard to find? and i'm thinking of getting some of mine UKG, which ones would you say getting done? i have a good 60 vintage 2010-2012 and a star wars 12 C3P0 that i'm def getting graded,

ones i'm thinking of getting graded are

Boba Fett firing rocket with mail away box
Boba Fett prototype ( white ) with mail away box,
Darth Vader Revenge
Anakin same card as above
Bastila Shan
mace windu
and the C3P0 i mentioned above,

any others that you guys should recommend??

that c3po is a really nice figure, but you can't buy it anywhere. Seems odd that there must be a demand for this stuff yet the secondary market is making the profit.

I really do not see the point of getting any ' modern ' figures graded. I always get this vision of the grader receiving them and chuckling to himself :?
Like Jedi Soldier says, they only seem worth more money cos' the greedy bastard seller is extortionatly outpricing the guy before him. It's not as if they are becoming harder to get. They are not like vintage which have been opened and destroyed, they are just being hoarded as everyone knows in this day and age not to rip them out their packing based on yesteryears figures!
Look at that gorgeous vintage colection gamo guard from a few months back. It was like rocking horse **** to get hold of and was going for £20 odd on the bay yet some of us were still able to pick him up in the smaller town toys r us for £4.99!
And for the record i would love that 3po but i think a well kept star case would suffice :lol:

Couldn't agree more with Chiffy - these figures are not really rare, hard to get yes, but as he says only because they are being hoarded by people
Picked that 3P0 up early last year from Chewbaccadave for a very reasonable "normal" price and he was part of my daughters Christmas this year - she loves him only because she has a 3PO focus not because of the perceived value

I have passed on lots of short packed VC figures in the last few years from friends that work in various shops and I must admit I regret not picking them up but only because some SWFUK members were looking for them and it would have been nice to help them out. That's what I love about buying on this forum - people aren't looking to make huge a huge profit from a figure they bought for less than a tenner, they just want to help other collectors
