If it wasn't for Heir to the empire, I probably wouldn't be collecting Star Wars as seriously as I am.
Can't wait for a TV series. I just love the Star Wars Universe, and want to see more of it and be a part of it for years to come.
As for AFA, I have loads of AFA stuff. I didn't buy it because it was AFA, but because the Ficure I wanted was only available AFA'd.
I have no real problem with AFA. It's not AFA that will have a negative effect on the hobby, it's those that lie about the items that have made something like AFA so important for many collectors.

a tv series sounds excellent, gonna be a while but cant wait for it happen!!

I think the series will be a disappointment like Episodes 1,2 and 3. 
It's one think having amazing special effects but they need a decent story line with some of the original characters, even minor ones that we can recognise.

Apparently Lucas won't be writing or directing. He's getting a team of writers together from all over the world (maybe those who wrote some of the books). Hopefully the dialogue won't be as bad as in some of the fims :wink:
I think Lucas learned a lot of lessons from the TPM and AOTC thats why ROTS was a fair bit better.
