So I found this in my loft recently and as I have no idea as to what its worth I thought I would ask here before I put it in the bin just in case its not worthless. Apart from dust its in perfect nick if that makes a difference????

That looks like Tigerham's carpet....and it's just as dirty.

You aint seen the rest of it...its even dirtier...comes from doing a photoshoot where I poured coloured water onto a mirror to get some lovely shots.....didnt think about the carpet though....:D :D :D

not much demand for items like these, however some UK made school-related items seem to fetch top dollar, for some reason. (edit: apparently it's not UK-made.. there you go :p )
i wouldn't mind owning it, but i don't know what a fair price would be to offer you.

don't bin it though.. you can get *at least* a few coins for it!
you're welcome to pm me if you don't know what to do with it :)

Anyone else got any ideas as to what this is worth????

Save the comments on the state of the carpet please....:D :D :D

sounds about right to me.. i'd buy it for $5, maybe up to $10 if i could combine it with other purchases
(the downside of collecting cheap oddball stuff is out-of-proportion shipment costs for single purchases :( )

What a prat - what did he expect it to be worth ffs - its only a fecking ring binder

Yeah I don't get this sort of stuff. People come on here asking the value of stuff because it clearly seems like the best place to ask such questions.

A rough valuation is given and an offer is made which seems fair enough.

Then rather than taking someone up on the offer its off to the bin. This response to me is simply a goading technique. It's more of a " well let's see if I can get a higher offer by saying that ill bin it otherwise"

It's almost like the op doesn't believe the valuation or is thinking we are trying to stitch him up?

In all honesty op , the guys have been more than fair here. It is only a ring binder and is not going to be worth a packet.5 quid is better than seeing the bin man cart it off surely???

I found a valuation for this in a book I have at $5-10. So I think the valuations given were correct

Classic example of greed- rather throw it away than sell for a fiver? Poor show

Ok thanks guys....$5....wow....guess the bin man is going to get it then

Yeah, ****ing bin it then you twat.
You started off saying you suspected it was worthless. Then the value goes up to $10 and you're shocked it's so low.
Shut the door on your way out...
