Some desperate loose collectors there probably.

There's desperate and then there's desperate! I don't think I am £200 + desperate for a DSD, blimey there are AFA 85 Vinyl Jawas for a little bit more...

Robbie makes his living from it, fair play if you can get that for a loose figure....why in gods name would you pay that!!!!

Oh yeah I just noticed it was Robbies other account, well yeah fair play to the seller!

I am lost for words on the auction and the price though..

That is a very nice looking DSD, but not nice enough for me to pay that much for it. As far as loose figures go, I would rather put money like that toward a DT Luke or VC Jawa.

Obviously there are collectors out there willing to pay that much, so good job to Robbie on the sale.

Thank you Shawn. Some people obviously like to stir the pot............

Don't think Joe meant any offense to you Robbie. There's just a whole DSD frustration thingy going around here.

Did you get the DSD graded yourself?

Yes I got it graded myself. I had intended to hold on to him myself because I haven't seen such perfect eyes, mouth and shoulder paintwork on a ds droid. Certainly a beauty. He's way better than many other's I have seen, even U90's. I didn't expect it to fetch such a big price though.

probably someone getting tired of buying DSD after DSD and being disappointed again and again.

Let's hope for him the AFA case doesn't break in transport eh?

??????????? So what??

erm yeah there isn't really any thing to be angry about, we had a four page thread about DSD's and how hard it is to find one in decent nick + a good price so this made me laugh, like I said earlier "good on the seller"
I don't care if you sell a dog turd in an acrylic box for £500 to be honest  good on ya if people want to buy it. ( I can say that honestly today because the DSD doesn't have a "U" in front of the 90)

What price did it finish at? im amazed a 90 grade can go for so much...i might start loose collecting now :)

you must be able to make a fortune

thats a little excessive  you can get a MOC graded one for that im sure.

Yes indeed, AFA 85 ROTJ -

Or for about £70 more a SW 21 back -

That is one of only 15 U90's graded.
Which is probably why it went so high considering there are more than 15 collectors trying to complete U90 sets....

It was not a U90 though, but a regular 90.

Ooh My bad , I don't know why I looked up the U90 scores, I guess that's habit

Ok well then it's one of one. (only 90 AFA graded so far )
