Advertised here and here only for 7 days. Far, far prefer selling here than elsewhere.

Prices include fully insured Special Delivery (UK). Overseas at additional cost. Price also includes fees. Star Case included. If you want to reduce the cost by paying by F&F then I can knock 3.4% off.

When I restarted collecting I decided a budget Palitoy 12 back run was in order. I set myself a mission to get the 12 for less than £12k. I got 5 in but then more and more people seemed to be going for the set and it sort of lost it's sheen. I also found I enjoyed finding and buying 10 x £80 figures far more than I enjoyed 1 x £800 figure. The long and the short of it is I sold two of my graded 12 backs and have these three left. I will return to them one day but in the meantime later Palitoys and Trilogos are my focus.

These are not mint examples. I bought them knowing that and, I think, still bought quite well. Hopefully they'll find a home in the collection of someone here.

R2-D2

12B Back card. The only defects on this chap is the yellow bubble, the very minor ding to the bubble (top left of R2) and another very minor area of bubble ding to the bottom of the footer, all as pictured. Not seen another Palitoy 12 back with a rare bubble so call this a variant if you like ;) The card is almost flawless. Unpunched and only the tiniest bit of edgewear to the top above "Ages 4" and some minor surface creasing to the bottom right hand corner of the back of the card (does not go through to the front). See pictures. PLEASE NOTE: Sometime after buying this droid I found what I thought was a crack at the stem of the bubble. Just now, as listing, I looked again, more closely and I'm happy to say it isn't! (Sorry, Dave). It's a factory formed crease in the bubble, i.e. a very short line of double thickness bubble. It does not detract from the bubble at all and serves only to strengthen in! In a market where mint ones regularly sell for over £1,200 this has to be considered a real bargain at SOLD (£550).

C-3PO (AFA80)

12A back. A Vectis purchase on 12/08/15 Lot 1101 (Hammer £680, after fees and postage £860). It has sub grades of 80 (card), 85 (bubble), 90 (figure). Where it fell down was the surface/spider vein crease in the top right hand corner. You can only see it when you reflect light off it. Not visible from the rear. Card unpunched and a superb looking MOC. Only too happy to remove it from the case for you if you like . SOLD (£850).

Stormtrooper

12B back. Love this guy. I can't find how much I paid for him but I remember being very happy. The only defect this MOC has is the damage over the letter "A" of "STAR". It was a staple that has been unsympathetically removed. The lithos between the two staple holes is missing and it looks like the staple has pass straight through the card causing the damage seen to the rear. It displays brilliantly, the trooper is mighty white. He has dropped his gun, Daniel Craig style. SOLD (£500).

Pretty much what Frank said as well as an additional what moron keeps a Palitoy Stormrooper in mint condition and then staples it for another tit to rip out!

Really hope they fly for you mate.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Hopefully the prices are sensible. Selling these guys to help fund a family holiday. And perhaps a Trilogo MOC or two ;)

All three are now sold. My thanks to the buyer.

The prices shown are those they actually sold for on the basis of a deal for all three delivered in the UK. Thought I should explain this as I had a fair number of offers for one or two of the figures and did turn them down. Don't want people to think anything underhand or unfair has gone on.

Well done mate, great prices for the buyer and looks to be a great holiday in the making as well:D
