A lot of repros sink when you put them on/in water. MOST original weapons don't but there are exceptions to the rule. Not all original sabers float for example.

I picked up a nice complete yoda a few weeks back and the cane sank straight to the bottom. I still recon it's legit though.

Is the cane bendy or rigid, thats always a good test. The repros are mostly hard plastic that doesn't flex.

EVERY repro cane i have seen has been molded on blue or black or grey and SPRAYED brown

easy to spot mate...


theres 3 different browns too

dark brown
red brown
light brown

By the way, when was the Jawas Armoury site last updated? Every accessory I look up is "detectable because it's painted over". Obvously there's more sophisticated repros doing the rounds these days?
