I'm getting so sick of seeing "recards/custon/repro" listed as vinatge/original!
Reported this one as i've had it up to here... :x :x :x

Even if described as "custom", the copywrite is not owned by the seller and ebay should not allow it on that basis alone.
Am i alone in this??

I have reported one guys over 20 times on ebay whos sell repro cardback kits as he keeps popping up on my searches and pisses me off. Ebay does nothing about it, but it does violate they replica policy bearing the Kenner logo and trademark

Yes! exactly what i thought! It can't be legal. If they at least listed it at repro/fake/knocl off junk, so that it didn't keep appearing in my searchers then it wouldn't **** me off so much but it's really starting to get my goat. :x :x :x (can you tell?)

Messaging them ain't gonna do anything. Just get in a verbal with some prick and get worked up and achieve nothing. And, it seems, messaging ebay does nothing. Perhaps reporting ebay to the trading standards might have some effect.
I tell you, i'm tempted.

I have a feeling this is something that is just gonna have to irritate, anger, annoy and **** me off til the sweet release of death... :wink:

No but seriously I totally agree. The amount of times it's happened to me about the searching and comes up as a repro. They're ****ing everywhere and as for the twats who buy them... whats the point!

Mine on the other hand are something different. As you know I do 'custom' as in different from original and stuff that was never done, also just for fun. And besides only gonna sell them to people I know, therefore know what I do! Would never sell re-cards or whatever... just plain ****in' cheap!

Its not just Carded stuff thats littered with repro junk. I've been picking up a few loose items again and its a minefield, they say its original but when its turns up in the post, well you can guess the rest.

Custom means a figure that has never been manufactured...Repro is an outright replica of an item and is a violation when the repro packaging bears the trademarked logo of Kenner (I have been busted several times and know from experience). It seems Ebay will bust the small time guys with only a few recards...but the bigtime ones selling the "Kits" they let go as they are turning a dollar for Ebay.

Yeah i'm talking recards as opposed to custom. I can't believe ebay let these people keep on doing it. I guess they wanna keep reaping the cash they make from them.
Whatever you think of repro stuff, one rule should apply to all.
